These publications are compiled from items and notices in nine early Sydney newspapers between
1830-1840. This time period covers the last ten years of convict transportation to NSW, and the first ten years of government assisted free emigration. This overlapping period is a difficult time-span for family research. By publishing this series we aim to help family historians to make that critical link in their family research.
